I've been reading a lot about the attorney general investigating energy drink companies that combines alcohol into their drinks. How many of you have tried this combination? Red bull meets Vodka....hmmm... for some reason, it doesn't sound like the right mix. I asked my young intern about the drink.....he seems to like the concept. He says it's great for clubbers so they can feel good and stay awake. Well, if you need to take an energy drink to stay awake, maybe you should go home. Anyways, the sedative effect of alcohol is usually to relax a person.....but then you put a jolt of artificially flavored caffeine....then the relaxation goes away. What's the point? What do I know? I just don't see how this combination works.

I got a chance to hang out 1-on-1 with my oldest daughter this weekend. I realize the importance of spending special time with each kid. I've got two little girls, and each of them need their own uninterrupted time with daddy. It's easy to forget, but profoundly important to remember.

Did you guys see this in the news? In a confrontation captured on videotape, a hospital security guard fired a stun gun to stop a defiant father from taking home his newborn, sending both man and child crashing to the floor.

Now, why in the world would a security guard use a taser gun on a father who is holding a newborn baby? I couldn't believe this story. I've had 2 babies now, and it can be a very stressful process. This security guard is a bonafide idiot. Now, the baby has head trauma and damage. Wow, somethings just really irk me.
