NBA Center Court - Courtside Seats

I've been a huge basketball fan since I was a little kid. I was lucky enough to be the one asian kid on the high school varsity basketball team. I remember waking up at 5:30am before school to practice by myself. I knew I had to work harder than the other athletes who were much taller and athletic than me. I loved the game.

As a basketball fan, I've always wanted to sit in the center court courtside seats. The challenge was that these seats were not for sale. In fact, these seats were owned by Howard Schultz, the Starbucks billionaire and former Sonics owner. Last week, the Sonics invited me to a game and gave me Howard's seats. When I got to the game, I couldn't believe that my dream was coming true. It was a very exciting moment for me. First of all, I could literally touch the players. They were so close. I could hear all their trash talking. It was great!

Next, the Sonics introduced me on the big screen and made an announcement that the local "Apprentice" candidate was at the game. What an experience! The crowd was very gracious and gave me an applause.

And last but not least, I got a real NBA ball.....the ball that the players actually played with. I will forever remember this great experience.

Being from HOuston, obviously I am a die hard Rockets fan.... not to mention with Yao Ming on my team. The Sonics are not doing too well this year so I can imagine the disappointment you have.

The Rockets will be in Seattle April 9th and I guarantee a Rockets vicotry.

BTW, I have been enjoying this season's apprentice. Good luck.

growing up in Cincinnati, all I had was a toss between the Cincinnati Bearcats, Kentucky Wildcats, Xavier and Indiana Hoosiers and man I tell ya one summer I took a bb camp under Bobby Knight lol - let's just say I can take what any producer dishes out at me on the set now !
