My Life Story...
I was born and raised in the States to immigrant parents who had attended schools in America for their undergraduate to doctoral degrees in engineering and business.
From a young age, my mother fostered creative thinking and an opportunistic mind-set that complemented her lessons in the world of business. My father emphasized the sciences and engineering to provide me with a unique blend of skills and interests.
I began academic training in business at 10 years old, in which my mother ensured that I studied from MBA textbooks and case studies. A co-worker of hers started me on BusinessWeek, and from there I started my first business in design and publishing at 13 and later got my start in internet and e-comm that same year. Many business opportunities and competitions later, I find myself in an ideal situation where I am able to begin to generate projects from observations that may possess market potential. I've realized that when coupled with ambition and hard work, an innovative mind paired with technical knowledge in the sciences provides for a unique opportunity to create solutions to challenges in the world around me.

About My Job...
In the past, I have worked in Boston, San Diego, and Washington D.C. as an intern for a national academic conference in medicine and healthcare. I have also had extensive experience in science & technology education, admissions/career advising, private tutoring, and teaching through social capitalist organizations and companies.
At present, I am a biological sciences and computer science student with a concentration in biomedical engineering and medicine. However, I frequently work with collaborative R&D teams to develop venture concepts and solutions for domestic and international markets in business and medical technology. One of the current projects revolves around quality managment and systems/operations research for the development of a medical software platform. This project is under my leadership and managment with on-the-project mentoring/coaching from a European corporate counterpart.
My work also takes me to my recent venture, The Collegiate Professional, a private invitation-only network and resource for students (undergraduate, grad/doctoral, professional) to discuss their fields of study, industry progression and insights and convert them into lucrative opportunities for team collaboration, new ventures and involvement in the early stages of high-growth and innovative investments.
I also work in biomedical operations research with specific interests in quality management systems. Currently, my research interests encompass technologies for minimally invasive surgical robotics, triage technology, intensive care, and the prospects of tele-medicine for developing nations and impoverished populations.
