My Life Story...
Currently, I'm a sophomore majoring in International Business at Pepperdine University and loving every minute of it! I grew up a short distance south of Seattle, Washington and currently reside just outside of Portland, Oregon. I’m always eager to meet people and hear their stories, so get in touch!
I’m so thankful for having had great experiences through the course of my life and having met wonderful people along the way, who shaped me into the person I am today. The first thing I do when I wake up is to think about the numerous blessings I have. Next, I begin to purposefully plan each day. I believe it is very important to create plans and keep an eye towards the future, then concentrate on taking a step toward your goals each day.
My life centers on obtaining success, however, success is not a measure of material wealth but includes intangible achievements. Have you made a positive impact on the world? I’ve learned that you will succeed by helping others to succeed. In pursuit of this, I found that mistakes will be made. In order to be successful, one must learn from his mistakes, finish what he starts, and be satisfied in his heart by serving others. At the end of the day, you will know if you gave your best effort and have no regrets. In my definition, if you are content doing these things and are at peace with yourself, then you have achieved success.
I think a person’s attitude is their most important quality. We’ve all seen that hope can bring people out of the hardest of times. You can progressively improve yourself, learn more, and do more with the right attitude, but if your attitude is negative, then you’re going nowhere fast! Attitude impacts our thoughts, and our thoughts can have a powerful affect on what happens in our lives!
There is a saying that, “Who you become depends on the books you read and the people you meet.” This is why I’m excited to be using a site like Zoodango!
