Today I had the great opportunity to meet James Sun and his wife Julie at a seminar regarding opportunities in Real Estate. After getting to hear some of his ideas as well as his vision and concept for Zoodango, I felt like I would be missing out on a great opportunity if I did not sign up right away.

This was a great experience for me because James has been a source of inspiration and a great example of hard work, drive, and passion. Being a Korean-American, living in Redmond, and graduating from the UW, obviously I feel some natural ties to him, but all of that is trivial to the real reason I admire his work.

Behind every man there is a great woman. James is blessed to have a companion and teammate that is supportive and driven herself. Her experience in Real Estate has been helpful for me in starting my life and career. Meanwhile her willingness to share and help others is admirable as well.

It was comforting to see how sincere and genuine such hard working and successful people can be. Not only was I able to take away ideas about different investment vehicles, but also general life lessons. James reminded me the importance of passion in work and life. It's something I know, but also something I need to hear again.

This experience has reinforced my willingness to live life to the fullest, be thankful of what God has blessed me with, and work hard at what I am passionate and driven about.
