My Life Story...
I grew up in the Seattle area and went to college in Boston, MA. After college I moved back to Seattle and started working as a software engineer. Ten years later, I am married, have a son, and work both as a Software Architect and as CFO of a Seattle-based consulting company called Übermind, Inc. Over the past two years I have been teaching myself the Ruby programming language and use it to build Rails applications for fun! I'm addicted to this cool new technology and I'm a member here because I wanted to see a Rails app, Zoodango, in action.
About My Job...
I love working for Übermind and I love being a software engineering consultant! Übermind, Inc. is an employee-owned and operated company, and I've been able to work my way onto the Board of Directors, become a Vice President, and act as CFO for the company.
My Education and Degrees...
I graduated from Boston University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Music degree. I attended 1 year of graduate school at Boston University as well. I started programming computers at about age 13. I have completed several computer software courses and training classes -- most recently a Pragmatic Programmers Ruby on Rails class.
