My Life Story...
My Life Story....Well, I was born in Southern Vietnam in a small city. At the age of 7 years old, my parents decided that I would get the opportunity to escape my country with my dad. The risk for freedom outweighed the oppression by communist dictators. So, my dad and I escape on a small boat during the middle of the night and headed out to the open sea along with 30 other refugees. The consequences for such a risk..prison or death on the open ocean. Lets see, we drank water out of a rusted steel drum, we were ravaged and robbed by Thai pirates, the women were kidnapped for prostitution, we were left with a broken engine floating for days. After a little more than two weeks, we beached ourself on a tourist beach in Malaysia. After two years spent in 4 different refugee camps, my dad and I were sponsored to come live in Washington State. My mother and siblings had the same fate and escaped to the Phillipines. We eventually united in late 1986. This part of my life shaped who I am today. There's nothing you can't accomplished when you have experience such an ordeal. My parents gave me the opportunity to be here today so the least I can do is achieve my best.
Today, I live with my 8 years old son and girlfriend Lindsey in Federal Way, WA. He's my inspiration to become successful. Lindsey's my support in achieving that dream. Here's a shout out to them: I LOVE YOU BOTH!!!

About My Job...
Jason Nguyen is the CEO/Co-Owner of 1st Security Financial, Corp. He earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from Seattle University before venturing into a career in finance. Jason is the president of the Pacific Northwest Investment real estate investment club and is a Board Member of the Campus Highland Homeowner Association. He strives to fully inform each client about the real estate market and the benefits of homeownership. He takes great pride in serving his clients’ needs and finding the best possible way to help them achieve their goals. Jason specializes in home construction loans and is fluent in Vietnamese.
