I'm a Seattle native who's passionate about art, supporting the arts community, writing and volunteering in the community. Some of the groups I'm currently involved with are: Cancer for College, WAEYC, ReAct Theatre and Seattle Seasons which produces the Winter Solstice event at Seattle Center "Orbis."

About My Job...
I'm a freelance Designer and Marketer. I currently teach Graphic Design at Green River Community College and Web Design at Bellevue Community College.
My Education and Degrees...
I hold a BA (emphasis on Renaissance Art) in Art History, BA in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts (emphasis on drawing and painting) and Communications Minor from the University of Washington. My Digital Journalism team recieved the UW Communications Department's Pioneer Excellence in Digital Journalism Award for our site "Islam Faith & Democracy" (see links for website).
In 2007 I completed the University of Washington Extension program's Design and Multimedia Production Certificate.
